Organization: The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organization of economic studies for countries with a common democratic government system and a market economy. It was founded on 16 April 1948 and named OECE, Organization for Economic Cooperation in Europe. On 14 December 1960, a new convention was signed in Paris, from which the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) was set up, which took office on 30 September 1961 and replaced OECE. Over the next few years OECD has joined several non-European countries such as Canada, Japan, the United States and Australia. The organization mainly plays an advisory assembly role, and this allows the comparison of political experiences to solve common problems in the member countries.
