Job descprition:  the traineeship consist:

Attending and organising meetings, working groups, forums, public hearings

- Researching and compiling documentation, reports, consultations, answering queries

- Running projects

- EU knowledge - insight into the processes and policies of the European Institutions

- Practical experience - an opportunity to play a part in the Commission's day-to-day business

- Opportunity to put academic theory into practice

 

Qualifications:

- Degree of at least 3 years of study (minimum a Bachelor)

- Very good knowledge of English or French or German (C1/C2 level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

- Very good knowledge of a second EU official language (required for nationals of EU countries)

 

You must have completed at least 3-years of study with a degree to apply for a Blue Book traineeship. Only if you have a certificate or an official confirmation from your university that you have at least a 3-year degree will you be eligible to apply.

These representatives form a permanent link between EIPA and national public administrations, and also guarantee a strong institutional network at the highest level of public administration throughout Europe. Timeframe: The internship programme is offered on a duration of approximately six-months, two times a year: from February to July and from September to February

Job description:  The successful candidate will provide support in the training and research activities of the Centre, in particular the tasks are:

-Search of documents for research papers.

-Support in the preparation of power point presentations.

-Support in the preparation of seminars.

-Participation in open seminars.

-Support in the preparation of tenders for technical assistance projects.

The internship can be full- or part-time, depending on the cases. Interns will carry out their tasks under the supervision of a faculty member.

Qualifications: EIPA Barcelona encourages applications from candidates with a background in: Economics, Political Sciences, European studies, Law, International relations and related fields. The ideal applicants shoud present the following requiriments:

-Applicants can be enrolled in a graduate, post-graduate or PhD programme.

-Applicants should have a good knowledge of the MS Office package.

-Applicants should have a good attitude toward a multicultural environment.

-Applicants should present a fluency in English with some knowledge of Spanish and/or French

Wage/Fees:  Unpaid internship. This internship should be an integral part of applicants’ studies and can only be offered in the framework of an internship agreement provided by their University.
