Organization: ECSDA represents 40 national and international central securities depositories (CSDs) across 36 European countries. The association provides a forum for European CSDs to exchange views and take forward projects of mutual interest. It aims to promote a constructive dialogue between the CSD community, European public authorities and other stakeholders aiming at contributing to an efficient and risk-averse infrastructure for European financial markets.

Job description: Tasks of the intern:

  • Help to shape the Financial Market infrastructure regulatory environment in the European Union and globally;
  • Ensure the preparation and consistent follow-up of the meetings and decisions taken by the ECSDA working groups. The association has five working streams: Risk management, Policy, Compliance, Settlement and core technology, as well as Harmonisation of Corporate actions European markets practices;
  • In collaboration with members and consultancy firms, develop an understanding of the industry major evolution trends, its threats and opportunities and help to provide the industry with a better understanding on the ways of steering its strategic development. Study and draft reports on the evolution of the industry and other areas of strategic importance for CSDs;
  • Analyse and concisely communicate the EU policy and global legislative developments related to financial services to the members of the association;
  • Respond to the members and public queries on the Central Securities Depositories industry. Actively use social media, update the website and create the content to keep members and broader audience informed of the developments in the areas relevant to the European Central Securities Depositories;
  • Provide general support to the team, including in the organisation of high-level events and discussions with the European policy-makers, Eurosystem of Central Banks, as well as with different market stakeholders.


  • Studying for or having just finished a Master (or higher) degree in EU law or finance;
  • Basic knowledge of the European decision-making processes, and willingness to learn more about it;
  • Exceptional writing skills and very good spoken English.

Wage/Fees: To the extent allowed by the University, if the applicant is studying, the internship will be paid.

Descrizione dell’offerta: Il tirocinio consisterà nell’assistere il Dipartimento di conservazione nella gestione e nell'esecuzione delle sue attività quali: la raccolta e valutazione dei dati, ad esempio sondaggi, la scrittura di report analitici e la creazione e manutenzione di reti. Verrà richiesto uno stretto contatto con le reti di esperti  ed i membri FACE, ed un adeguato monitoraggio della pertinente politica europea, della natura europea e della biodiversità, fornendo briefing interni al FACE. Assistere il Dipartimento di conservazione nel mantenimento di database su grandi carnivori, uccelli migratori e studi di casi sul Manifesto sulla biodiversità. Bisognerà prestare assistenza nel lavoro politico relativo alla conservazione della natura e della fauna selvatica, consultando i membri FACE su questioni correlate e contribuire a presentazioni, consultazioni, raccolta dati e contribuendo a qualsiasi esigenza di traduzione occasionale pertinente. Potrà essere richiesto di viaggiare occasionalmente in Europa.



-Il candidato deve avere una certa esperienza nella gestione dei progetti, un background in scienze ambientali, biologia, silvicoltura o simili ed essere veloce ad imparare in nuove aree.

- Si richiede una passione e vivo interesse per il lavoro svolto da FACE ed il desiderio di migliorare il Manifesto sulla biodiversità dell’organizzazione.

-Buone capacità di comunicazione scritta e verbale in inglese e almeno un'altra lingua europea.

Organization: Center on Budget and Policy Priorities is a nonpartisan research and policy institute. Timeframe: 10-12 weeks


Description: The positions are designed to reflect an intern's interests in conjunction with the Center's needs and the legislative climate. Applicants should have research, fact-gathering, writing, analytic, and computer skills and a willingness to do administrative as well as substantive tasks.

Internships are available for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. However, not all positions are available every semester. The typical length of an internship is one semester (approximately 10-12 weeks). Individuals interested in a second internship may qualify upon a review of Center needs at the end of the first internship.


Requirements:   At a minimum, applicants must be undergraduate students. Intern duties and requirements may vary depending on the Center's needs and the abilities and interests of each intern.


Wage: Doctoral students may receive between $14.50 - $17.50, depending on progress towards completion of degree requirements, relevant coursework and research

-Students with a Master’s or Law degree receive $15.50 per hour

-Graduate students receive $14.50 per hour

-Students with a Bachelor's degree receive $13.50 per hour

-Undergraduate students receive $12.50 per hour
