Duty Station: Prague (Czech Republic)

Timeframe: 6 months, 1st of each month, depending on the Agency's needs

Job description: The trainee shall support the daily operations of the Communications team and will be expected to carry out, under supervision, the following duties: contribute to the GSA internal and external communication materials especially the internal newsletter; in-house desk-top publishing and graphic design; support the Agency’s presence in key social media channel; update the GSA presentation database; regular website update; support in the creation of engaging content and audio-visual material; creation and implementation of e-surveys; support the creation of targeted sector press/media lists, the management and development of the editorial calendar, organisation of events.
Qualifications: The traineeship is open to applicants who have not previously undertaken a traineeship at the GSA and who meet the following requirements: Nationality of any Member State of the European Union or Norway, higher education degree (university education or equivalent), or in the case of candidates who are at the end of their studies, an official attestation from their university or school stating the marks obtained; initial experience or specific expertise in one of the areas of work of the Agency, possess one official language of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the European Union (one of these must be English); clean criminal record.
Wage/Fees: Trainees receive a monthly grant for full-time traineeship of €1,000.00. If the traineeship is part-time, the grant will be proportionate. Trainees may also be entitled to the reimbursement of their travel expenses from/to their place of origin.
