Organization: The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) was established by Regulation (EU) 2018/1971 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018. The new Regulation replaces the previous one - Regulation (EC) No 1211/2009 which was part of the Telecom Reform package. It replaced the European Regulators Group for electronic communications networks and services which was established as an advisory group to the Commission in 2002.
Duty Station: Riga
Open To: Graduates in: Engineering, Mathematic, Economics, Statistics, Law or similar
Timeframe: Trainees are are initially hired for a period of six months . The option to extend the traineeship only once is reserved to the Agency.
- contribute to activities supporting BEREC
- support to monitoring of the markets, benchmarking and data collection;
- support in keeping updated the database of experts;
- support in drafting tender specifications for relevant procurement procedures;
- other activities supporting PM unit and its staff.
Qualifications: Very good knowledge of the English language is an essential requirement to do a traineeship in BEREC Office
Wage/Fees: Trainees shall be entitled to a monthly grant amounting to 25% of a basic monthly salary of a temporary agent in grade AD5, step 4, applicable at the starting date of the Traineeship.
