Organization: The European Union (EU) is represented in Lebanon by the EU Delegation, one of 139 EU Delegations around the world. The EU Delegation functions much like an embassy and represents the EU in its dealings with political issues, trade, development, cooperation, etc.


Duty Station: Lebanon

Open To: EU citizens who have graduated from a university or equivalent higher-education establishment with at least a Bachelor's level.

Job description: within the Press and Information Section, the trainee will deal with:

  • media and blogs monitoring;
  • assisting at organisation of press and cultural events;
  • assisting at organisation of human rights and youth related projects and events;
  • drafting of speeches;
  • attend conferences, seminars and meetings upon request and report back.



  • be a EU citizens who have graduated from a university or equivalent higher-education establishment with at least a Bachelor's level;
  • interest in – and preferably prior knowledge of – political developments in the Middle East and Lebanon;
  • excellent analytical and drafting skills;
  • excellent English language skills; French is an asset.
