At the Summit, delegates debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues the world faces

Job description: The summit offers young people from all over the world, aged between 18 and 30, the opportunity to express their opinions on the future that awaits them. Its peculiarity is that it makes available to young delegates, sponsored by companies around the world, media platforms and forums usually used only by those who are in charge of the countries. The scolarships concerns differente subjects. The candidates should cover one or more among the following themes:

-Education and technology, essential to meet global challenges such as clean drinking water, food and clean energy

-Social entrepreneurship in the field of clean energy

-Social Cohesion for equal opportunitiesn in addition, equality leads to solidarity

-Access to Energy is defined as the ability to obtain energy that is adequate, available when needed, reliable of good quality, affordable, legal, convenient, healthy, and safe for all required energy applications across households, productive enterprises and community institutions (World bank/ESMAP)

the One Young World Shell provides:

-access to the One Young World Summit 2018 in The Hague, 17th to 20th of October in the Netherlands
-the costs of traveling to and from The Hague (only for non-Shell delegates living within NL)
-transport, accommodation and food in The Hague from 17 to 20 October
-participation in the pre-events; including personal coaching, networking opportunities, etc
-summit handouts and support materials



-between 18 and 30 years old (OYW criteria)
-good motivation for the process you are working on making a difference on  Education, Access to Energy, Social Entrepreneurship or Social Cohesion
-available and motivated to spend the number of days of your time (between June and October 2018) on the program
-good command of English is a plus; conference is entirely in English
-only candidates living in the Netherlands will be eligible
