The Giovani nel Mondo Association, founders and organisers of the Rome International Careers Festival, is proud to announce a partnership with Barel Italia - a company which specializes in beautifully-crafted, Italian-made furniture, decor and home accessories.Barel, a business started in 1956 by Augusto Barel and his wife, is the epitome of Italian craftsmanship with two goals in mind: quality and reliability. The company has since expanded, reaching new markets in France, England, Germany, Greece, Russia and the U.S. Yet, through changes in the market and company expansions, it has always remained a family business - a sign of continuity and respect for traditions in working forged iron.
Now, in partnership with the Rome International Careers Festival, Barel will be providing scholarships for 30 well-deserving participants. The company has decided to sponsor 3 students from 10 different countries: SPAIN, FRANCE, AZERBAIJAN, TURKEY, KAZAKHSTAN, CANADA, INDIA, JAPAN, MEXICO and ARMENIA. These 30 winners will have their conference fee paid for in order to participate at one of the projects of the 2017 edition of the Festival:
Rome Model United Nations - the largest simulation of the United Nations in Europe with over 1,000 participants from more than 100 different countries.
Rome Business Game - a case-study competition where students not only present innovative solutions which can be adopted by the Festival's partner companies but where the winners receive internship and interview opportunities.
Rome Press Game - the world's first simulation dedicated to the world of media and journalism and learn exactly what it means to be a journalist or translator, in every medium - TV, Radio, and web journalism.
Rome International Careers Course - an intense 4-day course filled with eminent guest speakers and workshops to prepare you for any career at the international level, whether it is with a multinational company or a United Nations agency.
The Giovani nel Mondo Association cannot thank Barel for the gift that they are providing to some of the world's brightest young minds.
