Luiss Guido Carli University - Rome offers 6 scholarships for the next academic year

The LUISS Guido Carli assigns 6 scholarships to students who will enroll in the academic year 2019/2020 to the first year of a master's degree course and who are in possession of a certificate GMAT or GRE in the course of validity.   

The scholarship consists in the total exemption from the payment of the single contribution for the whole normal duration of the course of study.

Organization: The Free International University of Social Studies  "Guido Carli ", known by the acronym LUISS, is a private University of Rome, born in 1974 and recognized in 1981. Currently the students of Luiss are 9166, with a faculty of about 340 university professors. The university, promoted by Confindustria, specializes in the teaching of social sciences, with particular reference to the courses of law, economics, management, finance and political science.

Open To: Students who will enroll in the academic year 2019/2020 to the first year of a master's degree course and who are in possession of a valid GMAT or GRE certificate and, for international students.

Job description:

6 scholarships to students who will enroll in the academic year 2019/2020 to the first year of a master's degree course and who are in possession of a GMAT or GRE certificate in the course of validity. It consists of the total exemption from the payment of the single contribution throughout the normal duration of the course of study. Scholarships will be formulated according to the GMAT or GRE score, in descending order, and assigned with the following criterion: No. 2 scholarships to the Department of Political Science; No. 2 scholarships to the Department of Enterprise and Management; No. 2 scholarships to the Department of Economics and Finance.

In case of equal merit, the student will prevail with the three-year weighted average, achieved by June 15, 2019, higher.

If the student is from non-Italian universities, the credits and the votes will be compared with the Italian university system: to this end the student must enclose the Transcript of Records with the Grade Point Average (GPA) and a Document explaining the grading system of your university/country. All attachments must be written in English or Italian, otherwise excluded from the competition. Any scholarships that may not be allocated will be shared between the remaining departments in proportion to the number of questions on the total.

The disclosure of the benefit assignment will be sent by July 2019.

 

Qualifications:

  • Italian students may apply if they possess, at the expiry date of this competition, a GMAT certificate with a minimum rating of 710 or a GRE equivalent certificate converted on the basis of the annexed table. The student with the three-year weighted average, achieved by June 15, 2019, higher.

 

  • The student from non-Italian universities: the credits and the votes will be compared with the Italian university system. To this end, the student must enclose the Transcript of Records with the Grade Point Average (GPA) and a document explaining the grading system of their university/country to the application form. All attachments must be written in English or Italian, otherwise excluded from the competition.

The scholarship will be confirmed for the entire duration of the course of study, provided that the student is jointly involved, by the end of the first year summer session, at least 70% of the training credits provided for in his study plan for the purposes of Obtaining the title, with a weighted average of not less than 27/30.

Wages: total exemption from the payment of the single contribution throughout the normal duration of the course of study

Application process:

The application shall be submitted, by means of the online form available on the web pages, economic concessions, not later than 12.00 hours of 21 June 2019.  The application form includes the submission of the GMAT or GRE certification and, for international students, the Transcript of Records. No incomplete or submitted questions will be taken into account and not received within that deadline. LUISS Guido Carli declines all responsibility for the non-receipt of questions arising from third party liability or technical causes.
