GRANT TYPE DEFINITIONS:

Early Career Grant

An Early Career Grant application is a request for funding that offers individuals their first opportunity to lead their own project. The applicant is not required to have an advanced degree. If you have received a Young Explorers Grant, you are not eligible to apply for an Early Career Grant. A Standard Grant application is a request for funding that does not have the urgent time constraints of an Expedited Grant application (see below). Expedited Grant

Job Description: Newcastle Law School has scholarships available to international and home/EU students intending to pursue studies at Newcastle University in one of the following programmes:

 

- International Business Law

- Environmental Regulation and Sustainable Development

- International Law

 

The following scholarships are available:

 - 5 partial awards of £3,000 each to international applicants

- 2 partial awards of £2,500 each to home/EU applicants

- 1 full-tuition fee scholarship to an international applicant

 

Qualification: The Scholarships are awarded exclusively on academic merit in recognition of academic excellence. Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- recent law graduates

- undergraduates completing their course before September 2016

- those currently completing professional legal qualifications

- non-Law graduates in a discipline related to the programme

- International and home/EU students

 

Wage/Fee: From £2,500 to £3,000
